THE STONE AGE

MR EGYPTS STONE AGE DAYS

WE WILL TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO A COLD AND FROSTY WILDERNESS. 2.5 MILLION YEARS AGO

THERE WE WILL LOOK AT THE FIRST STAGES OF MAN/WOMAN

A TIME WHEN LIFE WAS A BATTLE JUST TO SURVIVE

 THE FIRST STONE AGE

THEN THE SECOND STONE AGE

THEN THE THIRD OR NEOLITHIC PERIOD

I WILL COVER ALL ASPECTS OF THESE PERIODS AND IN INTERACTIVE TIME WITH THE CHILDREN,EXPERIENCE THEIR LIFE ,AND LIVING CONDITIONS AND ALL ASPECTS OF HUMANS DEVELOPMENT DURING THESE PERIODS.

We will look at how man developed from a wandering nomadic tribe all the way through till they became farmers and settlers in a new land, our ancestors are brought to life in so many ways, with knowledge and language writings and general life. A real learning experience for the children.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO REALISE THE VAST TIME PERIOD THAT THE STONE AGE COVERED, SOMETIMES CHILDREN DO NOT GRASP THE ENORMITY OF THIS.

MY OBJECTIVE IS THROUGH INTERACTIVE TIME WITH THE CHILDREN TRY TO GET THEM TO UNDERSTAND MORE THAN JUST STONES AND CAVES AND ANIMALS, THEY NEED TO LIVE AND THINK LIKE THEM DURING THE DAY, OF COURSE HAVE FUN TOO.

As an Egyptologist whose history predates the ancient world, my days are very productive and sought after. WE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES DURING THE DAY

JEWELERY MAKING

CAVE PAINTING

FRUIT EATING as gatherers

REAL ANCIENT STONE AGE ARTEFACTS. Jewellery and arrow heads, hummer stone.

STONE AGE ROLE PLAY, ACTING OUT THE FIRST PERIOD IN SMALL GROUPS this encourages the children to be a stone age person. Prizes for the best acted pieces.
